Year 10 Business students were privileged to have an hour with Judith Batchelar OBE, Director of Sainsbury’s brand. She talked about her various jobs and experience before taking on this challenging role and highlighted the many opportunities available to people in the AgriFood sector. She discussed the very large contribution this sector has to make in solving climate crisis by highlighting recent changes in plastic reduction and sustainable sourcing, something covered to the students’ studies in Business and Science. She finished by talking about the variety of roles available to young people in this sector and she also gave our students some handy tips about how to do well in interviews, what to look for in a job and how to make connections with people.
