During the Spring Term of Year 9, our students choose their options subjects for the courses that they will study in Years 10-11. These qualifications will enable them to progress on to further study within our Sixth Form or at college. We will be supporting your child to make well-informed choices and appreciate your support with this vital process.

All students will complete the following GCSEs: English Language English Literature Maths Combined Science (worth two GCSEs) or Triple Science which includes Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Alongside these, all students will continue to study Physical Education and Personalised Studies.

Students will choose four subjects from a wide range of GCSE and vocational courses. GCSE: Fine Art Business Classical Civilisation Computer Science Design & Technology, 3D Design Drama French Geography History Media Studies Music Physical Education Religious Studies  Spanish Vocational: Creative Media Production Enterprise & Marketing Health and Social Care Hospitality and Catering Sports Studies

We look forward to seeing you all in person at the Options Evening event on the 15th January 2026. There will be presentations at 6pm and 6.45pm which will explain the options process in full. Subject specialists will be available from 6-8pm to answer questions about their individual subjects. Applications will open shortly.
