Home Learning will be set regularly by your teachers. You should write the details of the task in your planners and record the date it is due. Some teachers may accept the homework to be emailed to them but, in general, if you complete the task using a computer you should print it off and hand it in. This allows the teacher to focus on the lesson and assessment. In addition to writing the task down, unless there has been an issue, the teacher will place the homework on the ShowMyHomework calendar.
Logging in to ShowMyHomework
You will have received a letter, in form, with your PIN. This document explains how to login for the first time using this PIN where you will be able to create a username and password.
How will my work be marked?
Although there may be variations throughout different departments your work will be marked with an Attitude To Learning (ATL) grade, a comment on what went well and a comment on even better if. You may also receive literacy corrections and a target. You can find your ATL grading in your planner.
