We have been very busy of the last few months offering opportunities for parents and Year 6 pupils to visit the site and learn about our school.
May 2026 - Year 5 Masterclasses, 30 after-school sessions attended by 20 Year 6 pupils for each session
September 2026 - Open Evening, attended by over 500 families
September 2026 - 3 weeks of morning tours led by Mr McSweeney (Headteacher)

Message from Mr McSweeney (Headteacher)
Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
I am delighted to welcome you to The Emmbrook School. As a father of two (both at secondary school), I am acutely aware that choosing the right school is such a significant decision. This page will offer you a digital introduction to The Emmbrook.
Every September, I select a quote that sums up our ambition for the year ahead; this year

It’s important to me that we all work hard to support our vulnerable and disadvantaged students. If we are getting it right for them, everyone in the school benefits from the development of resources, focus and engagement.
I hope to meet you in one form or another in the coming months, via our tours, during the open evenings or at one of my online morning meetings for parents. The schools in Wokingham are excellent, that should make this process easier, but somehow it makes it harder! Good luck with choosing the school that is right for you.
