Governance
The Emmbrook School is part of The Circle Trust. The Circle Trust is an educational charity which exists to do one thing and that is to promote education for the common good.
By being part of The Circle Trust our school benefits in many ways. We learn from one another, share the workload and enjoy the economies of scale of many schools working together. Put simply we can do much more than by working alone.
Our “family circle” includes schools in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Hampshire, all geographically clustered within a half an hour journey to the Trust’s main offices where we gather for meetings and training. You can learn more about our Trust and the schools that are a part at www.thecircletrust.co.uk
As part of this family of schools we share in a common governance structure led by our board of Trustees. Trustees are introducing during this academic year a new system to ensure they are able to listen and learn from all stakeholders including pupils, staff, the local community and of course parents and carers. This includes the opportunity for parents and carers to be elected to serve as Trustees on the Trust Board.
Should you have any question, query or even concern about this school or any policy of the Trust you can use this email address ([email protected]) and the Trust’s Governance Professional team will respond to you directly.
