Contextual Information for Higher Education Providers (2021)

‘The Emmbrook School Contextual Information for Higher Education Providers (2021):

Due to Covid-19, The Emmbrook School was closed to all Year 12 students from Monday 23rd March, as per the Government guidelines.

During the closure, staff were required to upload work and resources to Microsoft teams and Show my homework for students remote learning.  For year 12 students, this work was uploaded on a weekly basis and  continued to follow the specification.  In addition, all Year 12 students undertook assessments during the remote learning process, and this helped to inform staff of student process during this period.  From the 15th June, Year 12 returned to school for welfare meetings and to undertake two, two-hour face to face sessions per A-levels subject.  This is in contract to the 9 hours per fortnight of teaching time usually timetabled.

No  assessments in controlled conditions were able to take place during this time but all students have undertaken assessments in controlled conditions since the start of year 13.’
