Non school uniform day 19th March 2010
Please note a change to the original calendar date. The non school uniform day has been moved to Friday 19th March 2010 to combine fund raising for both Comic Relief and Sports Relief.

Hoodies
: It appears there has been some ‘confusion’. A hoody is any sweatshirt or over garment that is non-waterproof and with a hood.

Piercings: No body piercing jewellery is allowed.


Students who infringe these rules after half term will be refused admission.

Public Exams
Students who are taking examinations should make arrangements to make their journey to school as straightforward as possible. Any student who is having a problem getting to school should contact us at the earliest possible opportunity.
Please make sure to pack any equipment needed for the exams and GOOD LUCK !!

Exam Success !!
The GCSE results included over 75% of students gaining 5+ passes at A*-C and the 'A' Level results put us again in the top 15% nationally for Added Value

Swine Flu – Update 26th August '09
Message from the Secretary of State, Ed Balls
We have been closely monitoring the spread and severity of swine flu over the school holidays. The latest scientific advice to the government is that individual school closures are now of limited benefit in stopping the spread of disease.
Given the mildness of the virus, the expert medical advice is that there is no good reason for schools to remain closed after the summer holiday.
However, it is still essential that adults or children with flu-like symptoms should stay away until they are free of symptoms. They should contact the National Pandemic Flu Service on 0800 1513 100 0800 1513 100 or at
